The Porabka pumped storage power plant [PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A.] –

Porąbka – Żar power plant is the only underground power plant in Poland.

Automatic Measuring System was inplemented in the power plant chamber in 1994 by the BUDOKOP Ltd. In 2008 the geotechnical measuring system of the Porąbka-Żar pumped storage power plant was renovated. Since then the BUDOKOP has been supervising the proper functioning of the system, measuring the convergence as well as processing the data provided by the Automatic System.
